Connecticut Real Estate Broker Course Requirements

To qualify for a Connecticut Real Estate Broker License, the Connecticut Real Estate Commission requires that candidates complete a minimum of 120 hours of approved real estate education. This includes:

  • 60 hours of Real Estate Principles and Practices

  • Two 15-hour Mandatory Broker Pre-Licensing Courses:

    • Broker Principles & Practices

    • Broker Legal Compliance

  • 30 hours of Elective Coursework (can be one 30-hour course or two 15-hour courses)
